Is-sinjal għal SAĦĦA PUBBLIKA għandha żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel, l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa u jimteddu bil-ponot tas-swaba’ jiltaqgħu fin-nofs fuq quddiem. Imbagħad l-idejn iduru ’l barra mill-polz u l-pala ta’ id tiġi tħares lejn il-pala l-oħra waqt li jersqu lura lejn il-ġnub. (ii) Imbagħad, id waħda tieqaf mill-minkeb u tieħu l-forma ta’ ponn milwi ftit mill-polz bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 u tistrieħ fuq id-driegħ ta’ fuq.
The sign for PUBLIC HEALTH has two parts. (i) The first part is made with the hands in the shape of 5 with palms facing inwards, lying with the fingertips touching in the middle at the front. The hands then turn outwards at the wrist and the palms face each other and continue to move back to the sides. (ii) Then one hand is held upright in the shape of a fist with palm facing inwards and slightly bent at the wrist. The other hand takes the shape of 5 and rests on the upper arm.
